Terms of Use

Orbit is made and operated by Just Brands, LLC, a company in the United States. When these terms say "we" or "Orbit", that is who they mean.

Orbit is a habit tracker and companion. You log healthy things you choose to do, and the app turns them into energy for your Orb, a character and world that reflect your consistency. Orion, the navigator, is an AI assistant that talks with you about what you log.

Orbit is not medical advice and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or measure any condition. Everything in it is self-reported by you, and anything Orion says is general wellness conversation, not a clinical assessment. For health decisions, talk to a qualified professional.

Orion is an AI. It can be wrong, and it can misunderstand you. Use your own judgment with anything it suggests.

• You need to be at least 13 to use Orbit.
• Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email current so password resets reach you.
• Deleting your account is in the app: Account → Settings → Delete account. It permanently erases your account and everything in it, immediately. It cannot be undone. Nothing else is required.

Please don't:

• use Orbit to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, including through friend features or invite links;
• try to break in, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or other people's accounts;
• use Orion to generate content that is illegal or harmful, or attempt to make it do things it declines to do;
• resell, copy, or redistribute Orbit's artwork, character, or code.

If an account is used this way we may suspend or close it. What you log is yours; the Orb, its artwork, the names, and the software are ours.

Orbit is new and it will keep changing. Features, levels, cosmetics, Orion's behaviour, and how energy is counted may be added, adjusted, or removed. Cosmetics are digital items with no cash value, and we may retire or restyle them. We will try to be sensible about it — nothing you have earned is taken away casually — but we cannot promise any feature or look stays exactly as it is today.

Orbit is free at launch. We may introduce a paid tier later for extra customization and premium looks. If we do, the price and what it includes will be shown clearly before you pay, purchases will go through Apple's in-app purchase system on iOS, and the free version will keep working. Founding accounts keep their founding badge and Founding Star permanently, whatever else changes.

How we handle your data — what we collect, who touches it, and how to delete it — lives in the Privacy Policy. It is part of these terms.

Orbit is provided as it is, and we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or right for you. We are a small company making a companion app, not a health service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses — things like lost data, lost time, or decisions you make based on what the app or Orion shows you — and our total liability to you for anything connected with Orbit is limited to whatever you paid us in the past twelve months, which at launch is nothing. Some places don't allow these limits; where that applies to you, they apply only as far as the law permits.

These terms are between you and Just Brands, LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support or maintain Orbit and is not responsible for the app or its content; if the iOS app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and it may refund the purchase price (which at launch is zero). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

You can stop using Orbit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may stop offering Orbit altogether — if we ever do, we will say so in the app with reasonable notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of [State], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If something here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and say so in the app. Continuing to use Orbit after that means you accept the new version.
